What is a small volunteer organization
A small volunteer organization is one where pretty much all members are volunteers. They are mostly local organizations, but some are chapters of larger national or international organizations. They can be a parent group for a school or a youth sports team, a ministry or church or faith-based group, a veteran group, an alumni club for a college or university. If the words club, group, association, chapter, or ministry appear in your organization’s name, I am here to serve you.
How to Reboot your Group
I sometimes find that groups have fatigued members. Getting people to step up and serve in leadership can be a challenge. As a result, I came up with a quick guide to Reboot your Group. You can implement some of these steps today and see immediate results. Others you’ll need to implement over time. Taken together, however, if you follow these steps, you should see an increase in funds from membership.
- Develop a monthly auto-debit payment plan for membership dues
- Make a monthly cash flow budget
- Develop a membership marketing plan to engage new members and re-engage old ones
- Develop at least one revenue-producing activity for your group

In those situations, they came highly recommended and though I may have not used them myself, I did research them and validated their likely usefulness to this community before adding them.
